The bottom height limit being 160cm when loads of people are below that is bruh (me included, if not just by a little but I can deal with 160cm, it's just sadge since small characters are fun but no midgets this time, huh)... I like the idea of also having a smaller person with a huge sword or lifting people and throwing them, that stuff was brilliant and felt like you had a lot of freedom with the body size and creativity. I was worried about the 160cm thing, sad that it is the limit. I know it could possibly be a technical limit too but eh...? I was also disappointment with not being able to be much smaller chested or flat as those people exist too and it was possible in DD:DA, chest size is still too much for my liking. I was hoping for a lot more pawn personalities and voices too - Unfortunate there's no arrogant personality or vain, ahaha! I want my pawn to be the dingus he was in DD:DA.
Big ramble but AHHH!! I have so many mixed feelings.
Do you want to start your adventure Crawling on all 4's at the dragon or something?
are you high? 160 is the world wide Average height of a Woman of 20 years or older
and the average height of a Boy of the age of 16-20...
Lol, the Average adult height in France is around 175 for Male and 161 for Female
You say that like it would be a bad thing.
I wish there was a way to edit leg lenght, short characters end up with weirdly long legs or torsos too long, in my opinion. There's probably a reason as to why you can't change it tho.
People want to make dwarves in a fantasy game. Not everything is about your obsession with teenage girls.
That sounds like it'd be funny, so yes. I'd love to play Rugrats in my medieval fantasy game lol
There likely isn't a technical reason why leg length can't be adjusted since adjusting the height slider will make legs longer or shorter. It definitely seems like there was at one point a way to adjust leg length since it doesn't make much since how much you can adjust the torso length only to make the legs adversely and disproportionately longer or shorter.
The only thing I can figure is that there are buttons or levers that when overall height is too short the character can't physically reach them but that wouldn't be a technical issue just a graphical one and I think players would have been fine with it. In the first game my character was too short to grab apples from the tree so I was only able to collect the ones on the ground, it's one of the many subtleties that gave the first game such endearing charm.
Parents in medieval times: "You will become a Dwarf if you don't eat your veggies"
Child: "No... not a Drwarf..."
