Bit Expensive

Planned to buy it. Haven't actually played these games, ever. I saw a long YouTube video reviewing all of these games 2 weeks ago, checked Steam to see what was about Jurassic Park wise, and saw this game collection was releasing soon with the very same old games in the video. I was expecting $20 for a few hours fun, but almost $45 AUD, I just don't see myself getting this for that price. I wanted to support LRG here too. Just too expensive - maybe others disagree, that's all good too.

Might be worth it on 50% off sale in 2 years. Realistically.

I mean its quite a large collection that has never been ported once I believe. I think the price point is fair and sales will always make it better. The ninja turtles one was priced a tad high for what amounted to half them being like the same game basically just better graphics.

You have a good point. I think from my perspective they're just some old games I'd like to try out and buy to support, but it feels like a risky venture and I don't think I'd feel happy spending that much, even if I enjoyed them.

One other game I couldn't believe the price of was that new Metal Gear collection.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Collection price made sense. Konami has to split royalties with the ip and the collection had like 10 games in it, this one only has a few.

I would agree but literally half of them were the same game modernized or just a port version of the same game. only the nes top down one, the fighting games, and gbc were unique. Id give pass for turtles in time as well. maybe consider 1 or 2 others too but its a bit generous to call it 10 games.

For me, whenever a collection like this is released I divide the price by the amount of games and make my decision based on if it has a fair value for the amount of content in the collection. In this case there are 7 games divided by $30 comes to a little less than $4.50 per game. In my eyes thats fairly reasonable. Especially since I've only played 1 of them.

It's WAY too expensive. 20$ would have been a much fairer price. I can't see this sell very well at the current price point.
