How to avoid being possessed?

So i am at the part where the creepy shadow follows us. The game seems to indicate we should go in the room with the green barrier, but i can't find anything to interact with in there. Is this a bug? The shadow is also very fast, can't find anything to do before it catches up. I know i can slow it down with the green energy but can't find anything to do while stopping it. Also each time i retry i have to wait for the whole cinematic part to end. WHY DO YOU HAVE UNSKIPPABLE CINEMATICS IN 2023?

Hello! We're already releasing an update where the shadow cutscene won't play more than once. Also, if you want a tip on how to progress, you need to call the elevator by pressing the glowing button and then keep the shadow in place until the lift arrives
