Oban Star-Racers vibes
The art style/design and lore of this game reminds me a lot of an old cartoon called Oban Star-Racers, is it inspired by it by any chance? (Not gameplay-wise obviously)

Hello, I'm the game's artist ! I've never seen Oban Star Racers (I was 9 when it was released hehe) but I know the work of one of the directors, Thomas Romain, and I really like his style ! I've been told that my drawings are sometimes reminiscent of his! Maybe it's because we're both French and fans of retro Japanese animation? I don't know hehe

Hello Adrien, let me say congratulations, your art style is incredible, when I saw the trailer Oban was the first thing that came to mind, with those huge insectoid shaped ships mixed with ancient sculptures similar to the Dogū figures from the Jōmon culture.
Again, great work, keep it up.

Thank you ! So cool that you noticed the Jōmon ref ! I love modernizing artifacts in my designs!
