Drop rates?
My OCD pushes me to fill my encyclopedia :) but I swear I killed at least 200 Tenome (there's a place where you can go farm them very easily, like a kill every 3 seconds) and no drop.
Do I have to wait for the whole "turn to smoke" death animation to clear before the item pops up?
What are the drop rates in this game? :)

In the meantime, I realized the item bubble appears instantly, floating above the FX (so no need to wait for the smoke to clear). Maybe that could help other noobs :)

Drop rates are basically rng and can be atrocious. I still haven't gotten the momotaro drop items yet and i went from lv59 to 61 farming it and I just gave up. I'm surprised there isn't an equipment that increases item drop rate (or I just didn't notice), since that's been a staple of castlevania games forever.

Seriously, though...whoever fumbled these drop rates together must wake up every morning and eat a bowl of paint chips for Breakfast. Maybe huff a few cans of air duster on the side.
It shouldn't take MULTIPLE HOURS of farming the same enemy just for a worthless trash drop.
Way to completely tarnish an otherwise great game.

This is the absolute truth. The devs need to fix these drop rates for future players. The drop rates pissed me off so much it changed my opinion of the game altogether and now I refuse to recommend this game to ANYONE. I may even end up giving this game a bad review until the devs patch in better drop rates.

Basically the way drops should work is any item that is a common consumable should have around 10-15% that is about a 1 in 10 chance to get the drop. Rare items should be 2-5% about a 1 in 50 chance. Killing 50 enemies in a row is a little annoying and kinda boring but at least its only 50. Not 1000+ kills for 0 drops. Seriously wtf devs? That is not what anyone considers fun or enjoyable.

Yeah so it seems that using the EXP boost protocols increases drop rates... Not entirely sure on this but I tested it out and stuff that was rare started dropping right away. Try it out for yourself. I still think the drop rate could be improved or at least add more food items to the vending machine like they do with "ice cream" and what not. But yeah I'm back to recommending this game again despite no patch. Still a great game just needs a proper drop rate patch.

Please tell me, I need to know. What is fun for you to grind "MULTIPLE HOURS" just for "worthless trash"? Are you on the air duster?

Why do this to yourself?
Same opinion, even a 2% drop rate generalized would be better than the crap I am seeing.

Leveling up 2 or 5 times farming a single item, and the item still didn´t drop...
