Item Compendium - missing weapons/items question

I currently explored all of the map, and have all entries in the databases of both characters and enemies.
But, the Item Compendium is currently missing some items and weapons (I'm at 90%).

I assume these are only obtainable through drops? Or can they be purchased anywhere?
If it's through drops, are there any places where they are most likely to drop, or are they purely random?

You can check which enemies have drops and which ones you haven't collected yet by viewing the demon encyclopedia. As for places where they are more likely to drop, I have no idea but for each enemy try to find a place you can go in and out quickly, ideally a place where the demon is right near the entrance and you can shoot it. I suggest grinding the androids first as they drop a really powerful gun. As soon as I got it, I didn't use anything else for the rest of the game. It should help in killing the other demons quickly

I completed the demon encyclopedia (with a bit of cheating, since I had to resort to a guide for 2 or 3 enemies ), but I didn't notice it mentioned what weapons/items they drop.

Some items are located in secret rooms and hidden rooms. Are you at 100% map exploration? There are also at least 2 items that i know of that is locked behind sidequests as well. Also, make sure you buy out the equipment from both shops, as well as at least 1 item from the vending machine.

That said, not all enemies have a drop, and some of them simply drops money, so you don't need to have the "full" 100% there. Based on my enemy log, I still haven't gotten 2 of them to drop their loot yet, but I'm at 100% everything, so I assume those 2 enemies simply drop cash as their loot.

As for the missing 1% on the map, there's a couple of very short spaces that are easily missed (found through breakable walls).

You can either use an accessory (it's a pair of glasses) that shows you breakable walls when you come across one, and wander through the whole map in search of any rooms you missed, or you can check the maps at the following guide, and see what you are missing. I advise you to zoom in on the maps, and slowly going through them, because I spent ages missing a room that was a single square, and it was very hard to notice.

For some weird reason one of the tiles keeped purple and was not counting to the 100% completition.
