Bug/Glitch - Can't set down boxes or use ESC

I have run into this problem now too many times and it's getting very frustrating.

The best way I can explain is when I pick up a box from the ground and say I want to set it down to rearrange things, the box stays infinite red while in my hands when trying to set it down. Yes stuff would still be in the box to use for the store. But once this happens, I can't even hit ESC to save the file and exit out. So most of the time I lose progress when I have to force shut down the game.

Is anyone else having this weird glitch and have you found a work around until its fixed? I love the game and I want to keep playing. But if this keeps happening, I will probably wait till a full fix happens.

Side note: I have Verified Files too to see if that works and it does not.

I believe I have figured out what is going on. It is definitely a glitch. So if there's just 1 or 2 products left in the box, it will glitch and register in the game that the box is "Empty" when its actually not. And in order to proceed, I will have to throw away the box with product in it to continue to game like normal.
