Suggestion for using other shops
Hi there dear devs!

I love the game, and have read through of some of the already existing suggestions here, but did not find this one, so I hope it helps.
I would like to propose to have uses for the other shops that are near my little mini mart. Some other simulator games already have "training" options for developing your workers, but this games scenario is very well placed in the city center to make use of the shops nearby.

1. Worker boost options
i'm already struggling to always boost the performance of my workers (especially hunting running storage workers that are quicker then Speedy Gonzales), so I would love to have items that help me with that. The other shops could sell items, that are on par with the 3$ expense when boosting someone, but they could be placed on a special furniture type and are used automatically by the working force. The shops do not have to be elaborate, so you can buy at the door, no need to expand/program them.
- Donut shop sells of course donuts, that have different time degree and limits on the boosting. For example: normal donut for 6$ boost basic for 1-2 hours, Chocolate donut 12$ for 2nd level boost for 1-2 hours, filled/glazed donut 18 & for max boost for 1-2 hours.
- Burger joint does the same as donuts, but for longer periods and more expensive.
- Cofffe shop does the same as donuts, but for longer periods and more expensive then the burger shop.
- Pharmacy sells drugs, that that are not cheap, but give really big, all day long boosts. For example: drug for 80$, 1st level boost all day, drug for 160$ for 2nd level all day boost, etc.
- Dry cleaners could provide new clothing that could be set in the shop's customization settings. This is not cheap, and gives a baseline for boosting base of the workers. For 2000$, 1st level daily boosting start, 4000$ 2nd level bossting start, 10k$ for 3rd level, or something like that.
- Banks sell signs, that can be placed on door frames, walls and/or ceiling and could automate the boost and you could set the level of automation and the affected worker at a gage when clicking on the item (or at the shop customization on the PC). These would not be cheap by the way. For example. 3000$ sign, that can help you set up to 1st level boosting max for 3$ per use. 6000$ for a sign, that handles a max 2nd level boosting for 3$ per use and 9k$ for sign that maxes this out. Even if you buy the expensive signs, you could set the level of boosting per sign at the gage.
Also, shop owners could buy way more expensive signs, that boost workers for cheaper, but I would let you work out the details for that. :)
2. Customer boosts
You could do the same enhancements with the help of the shops, but for customers. These would no be that extreme, just have a small but good effect on the shop itself that enhances shopping speed, customer numbers or even customer satisfaction (that raises customer numbers).
- Food joints sell free food samples for customers (that can be based at a small food sample stall in the shop, needs Helper) that can speed up customer shopping speed or even influence customer numbers and satisfaction
- You can buy shop signs at Bank to have more customers (like having the card paying option enhanced with "Wisa" or "Rastercard" signs at the shop entrance)
3. Worker customization
The barber shop could provide options for the customization of the workers, so that they don't look 100% alike. You could use the already existing skins of customers for that, and give a variety of options for hair, facial hair, skin colour, etc.
4. Special scenarios
I think others have already suggested to have special scenarios in the game. The gas station could sell gas in case of electrical blackouts. Meaning, you would need to buy a generator or have a starting generator in the storage room (I know, it takes away precious space), and that would need to be filled up regularly during blackouts.
There could be 3-4 generator types (not cheap) and of course also different blackout types that go on longer (local blackout for only the mini mart for 1-3 hours, city section blackout for 3-5 hours, city wide blacout for even days). These would also affect the other shops that provide other services (so no selling food or other items until it lasts given the blackout type).

These are just some of the suggestions for already existing ones, but shops could be extended (like having even more shops with different services).
These extra options would make this game a whole lot different from already existing simulators.

Thank you for reading this :)
