I've been counting how much produce each customer picks up and it's insane. Had one pick up 16 zucchinis and another pick up 19 carrots. It needs to be limited to a certain amount in the same way that all other produce is. Even boosted restockers can't keep up with the demand.
I think cashiers should also be able to weigh fruits. That would create some incentive to have some cashiers rather than use only self-checkouts, which I think is the "meta" right now.
Finally, I really like Gao's idea of a employee leveling system. Employees could gradually become more efficient over time, however, their pay also increases with their level. So you have to balance paying them more over efficiency. New employees have different starting experience levels, each employee could improve at random rates and have random performance peaks.
As employees improve, the player can decide to replace under-performing employees.
