Refrigeration Shelf in Storage
I'm sure plenty of people have remarked at how funny it is that you can, for example, have chicken in boxes on shelves in storage then just put it out in a fridge to be sold. I think a very simple solution to that would just be to make refrigeration shelving in the storage that that some items are required to be in. Personally, I don't like the idea of the items having an expiration date, even though that would be more realistic. I feel like that would take away from a good deal of the casual nature of this game. But, at least with the cold storage requirements, holding onto things like butter and frozen pizza might seem a bit more logical.

It's probably too much to ask for a walk-in refrigerator that functions as storage (with room for shelves) and customer facing shelves that function like the stand-alone coolers (but can be stocked from inside the refrigerator). This is more of a convenience store thing than a grocery store thing, but most grocery stores have a walk-in for milk (in all its sizes and varieties).
Yeah I've seen that, and at some smaller stores, too. I think maybe to help with simpler programming, it might be easier just to make shelving objects that are for refrigerated objects. Maybe later the walk-ins could be added, but that might also limit where you can move your displays. Or they could be a third, more massive fridge object that only fits on walls, but I wouldn't expect that to be coded in anytime soon.
