Better way of disposing empty boxes
As someone who is in the 1.3% of players who has a fully maxed out shop with all product licenses, shop expansions unlocked.
The biggest gripes that I have with this amazing game is the disposing of empty boxes.

Going back and forth between the shelf and the garbage can holding one box at a time takes just way too much time at end-game. But if you throw and stack the boxes on the garbage can and do it all in one go. You still need to turn your mouse back and forth between the various sizes of empty boxes and the small garbage can. Talk about arthritis simulator..

There has to be a large dumpster upgrade that's closer nearby.

Honestly I dont mind the system as it is now, but a big improvement I would love is if there was a cart the player can use to move more than one box around at once. That would cut down the number of trips to the can by a lot, and would just make restocking in general an easier time.

Would also like if empty boxes became generalized by size, rather than their specific item... that way you can keep a few empty boxes stored for the sake of re-organizing the store, rather than having to wait til you have an empty box of whatever item you need.

How lazy are you that you cant spend a few seconds taking a box to the garbage can. OMG! Do all your ordering and shelf stocking before you open in the mornings. The clock stays at 8am until you open the store for business. Realistically there should be a big bin behind the store but in this game, its a trash can in front. No biggy either way. In the mornings before I open the store, I do pretty much everything. I order stuff. I fill the shelves. I adjust prices if needed. I order a few extra boxes of items I know will sell out quick so I can restock during the day. Only then do I open the store to start the day.

I understand what you are saying, but as the store grows and the number of products increases, it is true that it takes time to open the store, no matter how much time has stopped. It may take a few seconds at one time, but it can add up to several minutes or even tens of minutes.

I think the problem is not the location of the trash can, but the fact that you can only have one at a time. Whether you have 150 or 200 boxes, you have to go back and forth every time. Personally, if I had something like a trolley, I could first load several boxes with products in them, line up all the products, and then randomly load the empty boxes onto the trolley again and throw them away all at once. . If this can be done, I think the number of round trips will be reduced somewhat. For example, if there are 3,000 boxes, it currently takes 3,000 trips to and from the trash can, but if you can load three boxes at once onto a trolley, it will only take 1,000 trips.

Yes I completely understand. Maybe we can suggest to the devs that shelf stockers can also pick up any empty boxes that are on the store floor...or...the game could automatically remove any empty boxes sitting around on the store floor. Trash removal/cleaning is one thing about this game that I am not looking forward to. There are too many other games out there that have the player cleaning and doing trash removal. I dont want another game like that.

How to tell other players you only have a couple product licenses and expansion slots unlocked, without specifically stating so.

Things get time consuming, once you have 7+ product licenses and expansion slots bought. You're 5-10 minute restocking adventure turns into a 30-45 minute restocking when the shop is fully upgraded in size and products. You'll dread restocking those shelves/fridges/freezers deep into the shop, carrying one box at a time back and forth, back and forth. Your clock that once said 1:05pm is now 1:50pm after everything is restocked.

I know this very well. I spend way too much time restocking shelves myself. I hope the dev fixes this somehow :)

can make it like a real life supermarket where you can stack your empty boxes onto a cart then cart it to the bailing machine then make people bail the boxes and it compress then tie down the bail and then fork lift the bail towards the pick up spot.. once you are big enough that is to have a cardboard bailing machine... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeDxGrHxhDQ&pp=ygUZY2FyZGJvYXJkIGJhaWxpbmcgbWFjaGluZQ%3D%3D

An easy way of disposing boxes would come in handy because I 'ACCIDENTALLY' ordered 500+ checkout counters... 🤪🤪🤪

Especially after playing TCG Card Shop Simulator, which does allow you to buy trash can to put inside the shop... this really is annoying
