Rotate Stock Storage Reccomendation

Currently how the stock in storage works it it's LIFO (last in first out) this causes boxes with only 1 item to be at the very bottom of the stack. So the stockers instead of taking the almost empty box will take the box that was last placed which for me tends to be full. Switch the system around so when you pick up a box in storage you take the box with the lowest remaining value. If you make it FIFO(first in first out) then this issue will still happen since if you dont finish the box then it will just go to the back causing a very similar issue.

I think you'll find that if stockers have a choice of 2 boxes they will take the one with enough items to fill the relevant shelf in one journey, because many customer buy 2 or 3 of the same item at once it means a box in storage with only 1 item will be overlooked until it is the only box left. a FIFO system might actually fix this because a box is always returned to it's original position rather than to the back.

FIFO would be nice and for me a real time saver. Currently I rotate the boxes manually so the one with the least items gets taken first, but it takes valuable time and effort
