Is there really no volume control??

I usually watch movies or shows while I play games and I can't turn off the volume in this game? At least not that I see. I mean I could mute it my sound settings but just seems really odd that there is no option to turn it off or lower it within the game?

Also, while we are at things that are weird.. game auto pauses when alt/tab.. why? Again can we get an option for that too?

I’ve never understood how people play games and watch movies at same time. It’s not about multitasking it’s more I don’t understand how you’re enjoying gaming like that. Each to their own just always wondered.

The ONLY sounds I get are the very faint Beep - Beep of the registers, when there are customers in the store. I just figured the Dev had not yet got around to adding sounds yet - it's quite disorientating not being able to hear the game.

When you start the game, it says the detailed settings menu is being worked on, so it will likely appear in one of the next updates. In the meantime, you could use programs like EarTrumpet to change the volumes of independent apps.

There is a way to disable all in-game sounds. On Windows right click on the sound icon on the taskbar and go into Mixer, the game should be listed there if you have the game open.
