While I love the idea, what's next? Have them order supplies too? At that point the game becomes sit on the beach in Tahiti collecting phat checks from your workers. Wait a second, I'd play that game. ;)

Yah, the game should be called Inventory Manager ;)

That is kinda what workers do in a Store, no? Work?
When decorating and stuff comes, and maybe better expansions and so, maybe even best before dates and so, i think you would have lots to do still.
Trust me, i never saw someone in charge of a store just chilling all day and i worked in retail for nearly 10 Years and even in higher Positions too. There are always more than enough things to do (and yes in this game they would be needing implementation). But i dont see why this Game should not be more of a Management Game than a walking Simulator, if you prefer? Nobody hinders you to take over a register or refill shelves yourself, if you want to do it.

That is planned. The update notes stated that they would be able to get the boxes from the curb or from the ground to stock in the future so he is working on it.

I am currently at store level 39 and have obtained my licenses so far. I already have 4 stock clerks, but they can't keep up with restocking during the day. They work for about 20 minutes in real time, after the store closes, if I don't assist them. And there are many more licenses for me to purchase. So no, I don't think they are overpowered. From my perspective, they should be faster. Or, even better: introduce a skill system for them. Let them undergo a 5-day training, after which they return with level 2 and are more efficient. :)

Always remember: If you enjoy restocking the shelves, don't hire restockers. If you prefer working at the cash register, don't hire a cashier... Your store, your rules! :-)

Hmm I am level 52 have all but the liquor license and 2 stock people and they keep up fine with stocking during the day and a few minutes at night to finish up.

Maybe the layout of your store, don't know.

20 minutes was actually just a rough guess on my part. It's more like 7-8 minutes. I just checked and documented it. Nonetheless, it's still a long time to be doing nothing in-game. So, I just keep helping them.

thing is tho ! you have the option to not hire staff if you don't want it so automatic

Honestly, I'd like an option to actually tell him when to stock and when not. Rearranging the store is a nightmare. Would rather avoid constant firing/hiring.
