Expanding the store
What is the insentive to expand the store? They aren't buying more stuff just exchaning for other merchendise. I have all prices under the listed average price and I have quite a big store but I make about the same amount every day. I don't see any reason to expand right now it just takes a lot of work to refill everything.

The only reason to expand is to fit more products. The only reason to have more products is to feel more immersive by having product availability. After around level 45 or 50 your profits max out. A larger store will just cost more in rent.

That is not good at all. I mean, if you expand and have more products you should get more customers and they should buy more stuff. I mean, who doesn't??

Hi.Before I buy new licenses, I make sure there is more shop space and shelves (chests).

Your average daily profits absolutely do increase when you offer more products and actually keep them stocked. It does hit somewhat of a soft cap at a certain point, but you're not getting anywhere near that cap until you've gotten like 11ish store expansions and completely filled all that floor space with shelves and the products to fully stock them.

They barely increase. Fact. Once you hit level 45 or 50, the customers are based on your store level, not the size of your store. Profits you see around that level are around 2-2.5K. You have to account for bills and rent, and wages which is currently not calculated on the daily statistics screen. Your customer numbers are soft capped when you reach that level at approximately 60-65 customers per day. Daily profits do not get any higher if you expand and/or unlock more licenses.

So if you've unlocked everything available to you at level 45, unlocking more after that doesn't scale your profit any higher. In fact, your profit will drop since rent will be higher, and most likely you're running more fridges and freezers, so bills will be higher.

no progression stops around store level 40, every new licenses and store uypgrade after that doesnt really matter except from the fact to unlock those things.

Why are you posting? You don't even OWN this game!

It's always better to have more room than you need than not enough. Also being able to use the selling room for its storage capabilities is currently definitely easier than having those slow restockers trying to keep up with dozens of customers who buy 3 packs of toilet paper for whatever reason.

Other than that, with the planned features, there will probably be way more different things to place down, like anti-theft stuff, vegetable shelves, decorations, self checkouts and what not. There might not be an incentive now, but that will change eventually.

And generally, EA-games usually reach a point of where you've seemingly no content anymore, so that's usually the best point to either restart the game or waiting for more content (or just keep on with earning money to see, how high it can get, if that's fun to you).

You do know you can mark the games on steam as private, right?
In general, marking a game as private will cause the game to appear to other users on the Steam platform as if you did not own it at all.

You cannot un-mark the mouse symbol by your name, which denotes ownership. Completely different from marking your collection private.

He's already stated 100 hours, and level 80. Not one chance in hell he refunded the game.

All I know is every single time I've gotten a new license and added a new set of products to the store my daily profits went up and there was a massive increase in customers. I'm currently at level 44 with daily profits of $3,000 - $3,300.

I've burned through 10+ levels before without ever getting any new licenses/products just saving money to be able to afford furniture and/or expansions. Not once did my profits increase during that time. If the customer count was directly determined by store level, then my customer count would have been steadily increasing that entire time, and my profits would have been increasing that entire time. Neither happened.
