What do I do with shoplifted items?
I hit a shoplifter with a bat. He drops the items. The only way I have found to pick the items up is to put them in the crate. I tried dumping the items in the storage room to see if I or my restockers could/would pick them up to restock. I can't pick them up and the restockers ignore the items. I've tried to uncrate the items into to the trash. Nope, that just throws them on the ground beside the trashcan. What do I do? Help!

Put them back on the shelve yourself. This is the reason I turned off shoplifters, my restockers are very quick and I am having a floor full of stuff that can't be added to the location :( I have to wait for somebody to buy things, and then add them.
This was the first thing I noticed when I started my first day with shoplifters. I beat the hell out of one of them, and suddenly there are like, a dozen DIFFERENT items on the floor and my stockers had already replenished most of them, so i'm stuck with a full crate.

Also, my security guard just stands in front of the store and does nothing at all, so I'm basically paying a guy to look tough while I run around, whacking people with bats, restocking shelves that might be full, and cleaning all the poop and litter off the floor. It's just demoralizing.

I can literally wander around my store at 8pm and catch one shoplifter after another without time to pick up all the items they drop.

Turning off shoplifters until balance can be restored to the universe.

My recommendations:
- Stockers may need a new option to "pick up salable items from floor" or something, and make those priority to either stock to shelves OR replace in stockroom boxes.
- If that's not a favorable option, perhaps a purchasable "back to floor" bin like they have at many markets, and shoplifter-dropped items automatically go back there, which is a priority location for stockers to pick from.
- Security guard(s) should to wander the store during business hours and rough up shoplifters instead of being a gargoyle.
- End of Day report should list # of items stolen and show the value of them.
- Potentially the "lost value" (cost basis, not sale price) could come off the tally in real time during the day whenever a shoplifter successfully leaves the store.
- There should be fewer shoplifters, even when turned on. My store is level 59, there's no way that 30% of the people in my store should be shoplifters at any time.

You have to put the items into your Crate and place the items back onto the shelf, but my Restockers would refill the shelf of the stolen items with product from the Storage before I can place back the items.

Same issue. As said above, the issue is that restockers will restock before I can put the items back. Had 2 shoplifters in at the same time.

I'd like either the restockers to pick the items up off the floor or to be able to put them back in the boxes in storage.

I haven't played with the security guard yet. I'll try it out, then will probably turn off shoplifters. I do appreciate they added a way to turn this off at least.
it's a shame you can't throw waste away. I don't like the idea of selling stuff someone tampers with or dropped on the floor.

YOU NEED TO HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS AND THE SENSOR BAR AT THE ENTRANCE FOR THE SECURITY GAURDS TO CATCH THE SHOPLIFTERS
