shelf stocker help

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the works to get fixed, or if I am missing a step. I've tried hiring a shelf stocker, but all he does is stand outside the store not doing nothing. even if I have some items in storage to fill, the shelf stocker just stands around doing nothing. is that a bug? or is there something I am missing?

You have rack in the storage room, and the items on the rack. Same items you store on a shelf, freezer or fridge?

as of the moment I have 1 rack in the storage room, I have a couple things on it, I have a Fridge, shelf, but nothing for freezing as of now. I haven't unlocked that license for freezer items.

Remember to left click only to put items on the racks.

Yeah make sure you aren't placing the items down on the rack with "G". You should see the tag for each item on the storage racks.

AH that might have been where I messed up. I had been pressing the G key before placing it on the rack. i'll try again without pressing G and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

It is quite simple. You stock a box by clicking on rack. The spot for the box will be marked there. Then, you take the box, find the shelf you want to sell the product, place one item on the shelf you want to use and adjust the price. Lastly, you put the box back on the rack. From that moment on, your employee will repeat the process.

I had the same issue. In my case it was just the storage. You need to upgrade the storage, until the Door inside of the store which leads to the storage opens. I think its the third or fourth upgrade for the storage. If you have upgraded it just 2 times for example and the door between storage and store is still closed, the stocker can not be used.

I got the shelf stockers to work, I had the storage door open and all that. I was just pressing the G key to place it on the racks instead of just click on it with the left mouse button.
