Truck out of gas, can't tow it to gas pump

I managed to coast back to my store just as I ran out of gas. I got out, the truck was unloaded, then I hopped back in to take it to the gas pump and... I can't. I have 0 fuel left and no prompt to tow it. It's now just sitting in front of my store blocking traffic. Restarting the game does not help.

I believe you can press E or T ....or another Key,.. I cannot recall exact key to do it.. but if you press the key it will teleport the vehicle right to the gas station
