Can anyone tell me an estimate of how much cargo space each vehicle has
Started a new game the previous update so I'm still not far enough to afford anything but the skateboard. Skateboard has no cargo space and is slower than running so it's a waste. I'm wondering what I can get away with before I can afford the pickup truck.

Other details such as speed and fuel consumption would be helpful too. None of this is in-game.

This is the kind of information the vehicle screen really ought to provide itself. I think it's safe to assume the most expensive one has the biggest capacity, but even after using it I couldn't tell you what it is exactly. All I can say is that it's considerably less than the maximum market order (maybe 10 or so boxes at a time). Very slow going to stock a store with all the product licences. There really needs to be an actual truck/van option.

Such as "BUNKY" say, the process to refill your store when you go buy think in local market it's very very vey long process, you can play more than 5 or 7 normal day agains one day for buying thing in local market, it's dont give really value,

you can buy thing at a local market for neer the half of the normal price, but if we calculate the time it's take you finish by lost big amout of money even if you buy it at 50% off in the local market,

for the vehicule, skate have space for one box in your hand (I never view a rich man they have a market going buying thing in skate board, i think it's more to please to the young player), (no need of gas)

The bicycle have space for one box in a small basket on the back, (no need of gas)

the motocycle have a small basket behind, you can open it to put two small box or 1 medium box and 1 small box, you can place it like you want, (and it's cost big amount of money in gas).

For the car, you can put thing in the trunk behind, again you can put thing like you want, but you can perharps put 4 small box such as box for coffee, (and it's cost big amount of money in gas).

For the truck, it's the most big one, but you can not put big amount of thing in it, 2 big box, or 4 medium box, more small box perharp 8, but you can not put box one over the other, (and it's cost big amount of money in gas).

because you need to make sometime one hundred of go take thing and return and go take thing and return, and because you need to put gas in some and because all the time it's take to transport thing, in the final you loss big amount of money by day (than the normal day using the delivery.

After a bit of looking at the truck you can get 12 of the cheese type boxes on the bottom layer if you put them in correctly then you can put 6 large boxes on top ie the tuna ones and bout 3 or 4 more of the small ones just have to figure out what you want to buy at each given time

I have been trying out the local market a lot and found that having the truck works well and provides at least 2x my profit because of the markdown prices of the goods for all.

In terms of the cargo space:
It can hold 2 boxes of the Vaja Bleach in one load.
It can hold 12 or 15 fruit/veggie boxes in one load (can't remember right now).
it can hold 12 chip boxes (the square boxes).
it can hold 8 boxes for the alcohol kegs.
and I think upwards of 16 small boxes like sugar or honey.

I opt to just order through the scanner to get the x-small boxes like beer bottles or 4-pack eggs, but I would assume you could probably get upwards of 40 boxes of those in the truck.

Thanks for the information on the truck, but that wasn't the question. Obviously it has the most space. I needed to know the space for the other vehicles that I can afford or even have access to right now.

Thank you Daniel for the most detailed answer. It seems the SUV is the earliest and cheapest option that is efficient enough to be worthwhile while factoring in cost of fuel.

It really seems wholesale markets are only something to be used for the most expensive products. Fortunately those seem to be the small and medium boxes like the meats and cleaning supplies.

I really hope the storage space on some of the vehicles is adjusted in future updates. I'm okay with having limited space but it feels like there's barely any change between them and makes it hard to be worth it until the pickup truck. I like doing big orders in the morning and a way to cut costs would be a major boon but between having to figure out what I can fit in the trunk and going back and forth so much, the gas money makes it almost worse than just buying normally.

It's not almost worse, it straight up is worse than just buying normally.

How much does fuel cost for the pickup and how often do you need to refuel? If you're saving thousands of dollars on restocking each day, I don't see how it could counteract the savings.

It's takes the same amount of real time to get a worthwhile saving in, that it does to get through 2 regular store days. At max store level with a +10% markup on all goods, you will lose about $20K in profits every 3 hours of gameplay. Due to all the time wasted with the many, many steps to buy locally.

That makes no sense. There is no time wasted because you can do all your shopping before you even open the store. You can even continue to buy stock after hours. And how can you lose profits when you're literally saving fifty percent on everything you buy? What else do you have to do when the store runs itself?

That's why I specifically said "real time." You're not wasting the game's time, you're wasting your own. You will complete so many fewer days shopping locally, that whatever saving you got, will not have mattered
I just watch someone throw boxes all over the truck, including the hood and drove home.

You're complaining about... playing the game? It's really not hard to just take a few trips to the local markets for the most expensive products while the store runs itself. Unless you're trying to shop for literally everything locally before you even open the store, there really shouldn't be a problem. Just buying a stack of twelve meats alone should save you a couple thousand dollars in one trip.

Ha ha! I'm enjoying reading everyone's workarounds atm. But until I hear of a way to lock down a saving of $4K in 13 minutes (or equivalent), this system is of no help against the grind.

No that's a gross reduction of what I'm saying -- don't do that.

There's about 150 hours of tedious grind, otherwise weighing down a fun game and creating a barrier to content. My complaint is that nothing of any practical value has been added to the game yet, to alleviate that.

You might enjoy doing this run around town, but I'm really not impressed by it. The city is lifeless, the car controls are clunky, and the local shopping experience is slow. None of these elements are enriching the core experience for me, as a result. You can play as inefficiently as you want, as long as you're having fun, but I don't think this game needs to be dragged out any longer.

Maybe if you didn't fully automate the running of your store, you might have more to do with it than this weak delivery side-game. I personally find doing so the real strength of the game and far more effective.
