restocker settings

Hi

So I just got my first restocker and it was a rush hire after business day started so didn't get to check his settings until the days end. At days end I noticed he was putting stock on shelves that were totally empty meaning no stock had been put on them yet they were for upcoming license I was gonna get. So I moved the stock to the right shelf then went back to check what settings he had.

I assume from the screen shot below that item 2 USE UNLABELED RACKS and with it being GREEN means he will put stock on any unlabeled shelf and if I turn it off or RED he will only out stock on labeled shelves???

you have to turn it off in the same tab you hire them from there's sliders there..............wait till you see them throwing your goods in the bin.. im totally convinced its "AI" built. not clever enough to be a terminator yet, but its pushing boundaries and learning fast. they totally changed my stock room, even with both sliders turned to the off setting. it's EA so lets wait and see.

ok and yeah I agree wish I could get them to put on the top most shelf first as I tend to load the shelves from the top down so I have to keep moving this up at days end because they tend to put it on bottom up instead.

well my plan was to mirror my shop and stockroom somewhat. absolutely no chance on that. only played a few hours and i have no idea where anything is in my stockroom. its got to the point i just throw boxes in there and let them sort it out. they are standing around outside, theres some items missing from shelves. when you check stockroom theres product there!!! they do it again tomorrow im going to fire them:P

yeah mines like half sorted as I have to full double shelves but have new things I need shelves for but it's getting there. just wish he would have a spot to dump unsorted boxes as he just stands in his spot if there isn't a spot on the shelf or in storage for the item and he stands there with box half empty making me have to do his job!!!
There should be a dump spot where he puts unsortted boxes

well thats super weird. from my understanding of the game, its impossible for restockes to put items on unlabelled shelves, so that doesnt make any sense to me

No if you look at the settings for the restocker in the store computer item 2 in the list is to use unlabeled shelves so it is part of the game.

It would help if they made the font size of some things in the game bigger as some font sizes are a bit too tiny and this would be one of them

actually no, that setting says "use unlabelled RACKS" not shelves, its for your storage racks not the shelvs in your store. if you turn that off and you dont have a spot for an item in your racks, they wont store excess product randomly in storage. its use is so you can organize your storage before hand, thats all its for

Bug or glitch or on purpose that I don't know but it was a store shelf not a rack

it shouldn't and they dont for me. keep in mind, it doesn't matter if the shelf is empty, the key is it has to be unlabelled. if it is unlabelled, they will not put anything on it. so if thats the case and its still happening to you, its a bug

it shouldn't and they dont for me. keep in mind, it doesn't matter if the shelf is empty, the key is it has to be unlabelled. if it is unlabelled, they will not put anything on it. so if thats the case and its still happening to you, its a bug

Might be a bug then as I had to temporarily remove those shelves until I had stock to put on them as he was doing that. Only thing I can think of and maybe this is what happened was that I had put something on it previously and forgot to remove the tag on the shelf so maybe that's why that happened rather then a bug. Probably more a likely answer as some of these things are new to me having just started playing the game again after a year or more break so was before the restocker was in the game even.

quite possible. the tags are very small
