Still think you make money too slow
I just want to upgrade faster without taking a loan. The upgrades cost too much

100 %.... All Because The Devs wont adjust the Economy in the game because I think they do not want players to finish the content too quickly, but all it is doing is making players annoyed at the excessive grinding needed to get new Unlocks opened
If You can Average 5k Profit per day to unlock any of the 100k unlocks you have to play about 20 store days, at 30 mins real time per store day.. thats 10 real time hours to get one single 100k unlock, some folks like myself only get a couple hours a day to play so it ends up taking forever to expand or get higher tier Licenses

I tried one run with loans and one without, the loan repayments are crippling.

You should find loans to be of little consequence with the right setup. A lot of products can be kept available with just 2 shelves each on the shop floor (some larger or popular items will demand more e.g. potato bags and books). With these kinds of outgoings, you should be able to pay off any loan early.

The real issue is the late game upgrade costs. Sure they could improve our profits or footfall but everything in the game works at a decent pace currently, besides those costs. Easiest fix is to simply lower the price of like, the last 10ish growth options.

Nothing is gained or proved by dragging this process out. It certainly doesn't make me play more. I could lose hours if I wasn't careful, in the early game, because things were always gradually evolving and keeping it interesting. Nowadays I play 3 in-game days and just switch off, because I can't do anything interesting until I amass the bloated amount of $553,000.

Unfortunately in-game economy is cruel. You have to farm a lot of days doing routine things making gameplay so boring

one thing that kills my interest in games like this is if it's too easy and fast to upgrade. this sim has kept my interest a lot longer purely because you have to grind and earn upgrades. to me a game that is too easy is a waste of my time so i'll always prefer higher difficulty
Bunky 16 FEB a las 7:56 a. m.
Something eating up a lot of your time doesn't make it difficult. It just creates the illusion of difficulty because of the investment it requires. There are far, far better ways to establish challenge.
HAL 16 FEB a las 2:05 p. m.
absolutely but making it too easy to upgrade is still a negative

I wrote a big thread about this, and based on the testing I have done it will take roughly 300 real life hours of play to max out the store.

This. I wish you could charge over 50 cents the market price. It would really fix things.

I totally agree. I've already quit playing. It's too monotonous, too slow to make any real money.

far too grindy got max store level and profits per day running a big supermarket are rubbish 1 to 5000 so ive quit got all licences just wanted to make supermarket bigger

What I don't see as normal is that the daily sales profits remain below 14,000. I have all the store and warehouse expansions, I have all the licenses except for one of the new fruit licenses. The daily sales profits remain the same, below 14,000.

Yeah i played 3 hrs today and I feel like i barely made any progress again. I want to expand so bad but every little piece takes days of repetitive play. You have to restock and pay your people so the economy of this game needs adjustment. 20 store days is too long to play just for one upgrade. They need a fast forward button.

as far as the loans are concerned, i dont know for sure, but if your super low level, i think they do help speed up the profit rates, you just have to be careful to not overdue it on both ends of the repay schedual. not so long that you lose a ton of moeny, but not so fast that you cant pay it off every day. its a balancing act. you kinda have to know your daily avg profits frist. before you sign up for one

the probelm is, after you start making like $1000 a day on avg. all the loans are basically useless, and only lose you money. and it doesnt take a very long time to get to that point. 80% of the game seems to be loanless.

the game is also super grindy. ive had to install a ton of mods just to speed things up, and automate the grind for the most part, but it still feels super tedious
