Employee Boost
I think it would be cool to give our employees a raise (higher pay per day option) to create an auto boost so you don't have to chase them around trying to click on them. Boosted they can keep up with the amount of customers as I'm getting on average about 100 / day now. Or put the boost option in the management screen to avoid having to run around after them.

I second this! a raise or training system. Or add bagger as a helper. cashiers are sooooo sloooooow. i get that we should add self checkout, but early/mid game that is not feasible.
I agree with you on this. Good idea!

Raise system is a decent idea, if quick and dirty. A training/experience system would be great though. Have a list of candidates when hiring with different starting stats with starting wages reflecting this. Let them level up on their own through natural experience, or pay for training to fast track growth (to a limit, experience should be the primary factor of growth). A raise system could also be factored into this giving an additional boost.

It might be nice to add other stats and factors into work efficiency for employees. As of right now, boosting just makes them move faster. Maybe cashiers could have a "charisma" stat that promotes increased business with repeat customers, or give a boost to the likelihood they buy more/expensive products. Or security could get a perception stat that makes them respond to suspicious behavior sooner. Or an intelligence stat to stockers to improve their pathing.

I would rather be in favor of training them so that they can constantly improve / become faster
