Unable to place furniture in certain places [solved]

When moving freezers, shelves etc, they glow red in some places where there's nothing blocking them. Before reporting it as a bug, I want to know whether someone else has experienced, perhaps even solved this issue. Thanks.

Edit: Running over the area with a mop seems to fix the issue

Double check to make sure there are no hanging signs overhead or speakers/cameras above on the wall. I haven't seen it myself but possibly an overhead light might be the issue? Try boxing up the light if there is one, then see if you can place the object, then put the light back up. Also, make sure you are not trying to place it too close to yourself as you can block placements as well.

Sometimes it's a tiiiiny speck of dirt on the floor, try running the mop over that area!
