Suggestion: ability to set cashiers to help customers at self-checkout counters

Just tested out to see if this would work, but cashiers won't even appear unless you have a manually-operated checkout counter. Call me lazy, but cashiers do this IRL in the first place. This or hiring a Customer Service Rep should be considered as an option in a future update. (P.S.: Loving the new scanning tool! Still having to use the Extra Restockers mod for my store due to its sheer size and customer volume, however)

I was just thinking the exact same thing, actually came here to see if there was anyway to automate that issue.

Yes, I came to say the same thing. Need to have either a way to turn off the self check out problems or create a customer service rep that supervises the checkout. Also, they are way to slow now.

This is a very reasonable request. As the store grows in size and in inventory, it becomes impossible for the owner to work every single position. Managing a bodega is a lot different than managing a full blown supermarket.

It is almost like the person/people developing this game have never worked a job in retail.
