no shelf when starting new game

as the title says theres no shelf when i start the game to place my purchasd items? and it wont let me buy a shelf so i cant start my store....please help lol

Did you edit your game save from a higher store level to a lower store level?

Example:
From
"CurrentStoreLevel" : 28,
"StoreUpgradeLevel" : 27,

To
"CurrentStoreLevel" : 8,
"StoreUpgradeLevel" : 7,

If so that can cause your shelves to be hidden behind sections/walls that are not unlocked.

No they wouldn't have. I decided to start a new game after this update came out and have the same problem. It's because your still in the tutorial, so it won't let you buy a shelf but there also isn't one there at the start so there is no where to put the first box to complete the tutorial

Nope just a fresh install with a new game. Shelf doesn't appear basically soft locking the game at the start

So start another new game? Or reinstall the game?

Also, have you ever used mods before? Maybe there are residual files on your system interfering.

I have but it's literally a fresh install on a fresh os. Everything's fresh. None of my old save games are even there. Have installed it twice checked file validation and everything. Nothing seems to work. I just gave up on the game lol.
