some thoughts from self checkout to add ons.
i understand customers may need help with self checkouts. i worked in grocery stores and in pretty much all depts. from cashier to management, in other areas of store., i get it. but you do not stand there and check out their entire order. i thought maybe it would be okay i go over and click the register solve problem and done. nope have to check them out.. doesnt make sense to do that. maybe have someone else who can help. like another cashier. i have other things that i need to do. I help with restocking or making sure stock is okay. i just feel it should be done alittle differently.

the game is going in a really good direction. and im sure with time alot more will happen. like produce, maybe a meat dept? bakery? pharmacy? and maybe a deli? or maybe that is going to far. but it would be pretty cool. have other managers to hire.
I just feel the game could have alot more potential.

My store has one cashier and 8 self checkouts and I feel like the self-checkout stuff is balanced and doesn't bother me at all, but yeah, sometimes you do get a customer with 200-300 dollars worth of items and it drags on a bit long.

how fast are your transactions with that set up and how much profit do you generate a day?

I have all 4 cashiers but I also have 4 self check outs plus an additional one I use. I barely get one at a time at my register and like maybe 7 total all day. Im trying to maximize the profits i get so i can unlock the last 2 expansions inside the store.

When I'm not upgrading or making changes I can makes anywhere from 5-10k a day. I would of hired more cashiers but they just take up too much space and I could fit 3-4 self check-outs in a spot that would only have room for one cashier. I also typically need to help like 4 or 5 people a day and I usually get quick ones I guess do to luck.
