How come such a blatant rip-off is legal? Playstation and Switch

There's been a huge slew of knockoffs and blatant copies to the point I'm not even sure this game is the original, but I don't know of any similar games with an earlier date than this one. There's a whole rabbit hole of simulator games all produced by "developing studios" with no history or web pages.

I know and its ridiculous. Everyone and their pets seem to be creating very similar "simulation" games lately. Im to the point (as a gamer) to every week when I see a new "simulation" game release, I think "when is this nonsense going to stop".

it will stop when the popularity drops for simulation games, which is prob never gonna happen, with how quick some of the "knock off" versions of stuff come out, it feels like there is a warehouse full of devs, looking at player numbers and sales, then churning out the most "asset bought, blatant rip off version within a few months.

supermarket simulator was what started the shopsim-tycoon subgenre but its development currently not very active so fair enough I think

lol you might as well say knock off food should be illegal like great value products from walmart. there are so many things made now that are made cheaper and affordable so i guess most of the chinese knock offs like your tvs etc should be illegal to right great argument. to anyone complaining about supposed knock offs well sorry to say but so far they are better and the free ones is even better they may as well scrap this bs they cant even keep up with everyone else that started way later than the rest idc what you fanboys and girls say this game should be ahead of the rest but has fell behind due to lack of development. i would rather watch someone type racist things in chat on other grocery sims and play with others and able to communicate with more features instead of playing an overpriced 1 player super bugged under developed game.

There are several games that are similar if you ask me. Kings of Retail. Gas Station Simulator. I think the difference is the scale is slightly bigger.
