Can't Recolor Shelves?

I'm guessing no but just wondering if it's true. Is it not possible to recolor the shelves without repurchasing them? I was trying to check out each color before making a final decision on what shelves to keep in my store.

So you're saying you CAN paint your shelves? Because I don't think I've had that option.

Or are you asking if they can be recolored? Because yes, if you look while purchasing there's a new drop-down that lets you pick the shelf color before putting it in your cart. I'm just trying to figure out if, once they're at the store, it's possible to change the color without going through the hassle of reboxing, selling, and repurchasing.

Because nobody else is answering the question - AFAIK, you can only choose the color for new ones you buy, and once you have them, you're stuck with that color.

You can always save your game, check the colours by buying shelves then once you have decided reload the game with no money lost

I think this is the clearest answer, so thank you, cheese-water. It kinda sucks to go through all the shelves but it's fine. It's not like I don't have the money for it.
