Stockers messing up my storage.
With the new update (July 27th) the stockers are now compelled to manage boxes on the ground which is causing a LOT of problems for me because they keep messing up my organization style. It would be fine if they wouldn't see unlabeled spaces as a free space to put "whatever is lying around". It needs to be coded so that they only stock shelves that have designated products. They don't try to fill up unlabeled main shelves with random products, so it should work the same way with storage shelves.

Also now realizing that I have no way to move products from one shelf to another because the stockers are automatically throwing away my empty boxes! I actually cannot keep playing until this is fixed. While I'm here I might as well talk about how I wish you could make the stockers "off duty" without firing them so that I can reorganize without them trying to come in behind me, filling in product that I'm trying to relocate.

I have the same problem. Especially when we cannot just grab things from the shelf, we have to intentionally keep an empty/half empty box when we want to organize the products. And now the stockers just grab whatever I was using and move them back to the storage or throw it away :(

What worked for me as work arounds:

To prevent empty racks being filled randomly, fill it with something that doesn't sell so fast such as meat or Salt/Pepper. That way you put a label is made and they won't fill it. Then just toss that one box you used for labeling back with the others.

I hav same problem i can not play this game becouse they not only fill all my empty shelfs whit whut ever they just grab, but also they trow away all my empty boxes so i can not relocate stuff...and still issue of them use random box instead of same one who has lower amount of products in it ,still isnt change i hate havin 4 boxes whit 1 product in it.

You could buy a small shelf (or any empty shelf space), then use that to consolidate boxes together. As in, grab those small boxes and place them on the shelf, then use the last box to put all the products back in the box.

This has been a huge issue even before the latest update, but now the removing of empty boxes makes it even worse. In this respect, the devs broke the game even more than it was. I hope we will not have to wait 3 more months now for a fix to this issue.

Stock a shelf yourself and put the empty box in an empty spot in the storage rack and the restockers will leave it alone. The devs are working on a better and more permanent solution, but this is a workaround for now.

Same here I can no longer play until this is fixed. I cant get new products and rework my store with out these stockers pissing me off. I have to work fest and get to things before they do. Im about to fire them and rehire once im ready for them lol

My fillers sometimes just stop. They don't take any more boxes, don't refill anything and stop working. Reloading the game doesn't help, canceling and resetting the replenishers first helps, but unfortunately not always. Nevertheless, it costs unnecessary resources (100$ setting costs).

It seems that would work, but in my case...the empty boxes are disappearing as soon as I place them on the storage shelf. I've tried different sizes of empty boxes and different shelf levels, but they just go poof! lol Just have to wait on another update I guess.

If you need an empty box, just grab a product that uses the same size, dump it on an empty shelf location, and, there you go.

Yep, that's what I've been doing for now! Thank you

Okay, so since the developer seem to be nonexistent in the forums. I will put out my tips I have on how to handle some of the issues with the new stocker functionality.

In order to keep empty boxes, put them on a overstock shelf and the stockers will not touch them! You don't have to have anything in them, they can stay empty. Just put them on a shelf like any other product.

If you don't want a stocker to put stuff on empty overstock shelf spots, put an empty box or put some other item label there (move and item there and take it off the shelf, I was using salt as my empty shelf holder, as it seem to be easiest to spot) They will not put anything on an overstock shelf that has a label on it. You can then start collecting some empty boxes to put on the empty slot shelves to keep them from placing items there.
I have found that even if I had them marked as salt, they still would only put salt on the self I already had salt stacked (well most of the time, I rarely has salt put on a random shelf)

As far as them picking up boxes with stuff in them, there seems to be nothing you can do about that. You are stuck with firing them and the re-hiring them later.

I have to fire my stockers if I ever need to rotate stocks though. As they just get in the damn way and keep picking up boxes I am trying to sort through! I hope they provide a fix to the issues.

I hope this information will help some of you with the frustration of the new stocker mechanics.

Stockers put products in unexpected places, making it difficult to manage inventory in the strage.
Wouldn't it be possible to check warehouse stock and in-store stock on a terminal?
Also, I would like people not to throw away the empty boxes left in the store.

Hi, I haven't played this game since the last update because the employees can no longer sort the goods according to how I have marked the shelves in the warehouse. I'm very sorry, with each new patch I look forward to it being fixed, but unfortunately. Too bad.
