That is why I am not whining about the lack of updates, but am asking about a list of mods, from which I can choose what to apply to my game in order to freshen up my gameplay.

There's only so long this can wash, to be honest.
It has sold *incredibly* well - enough I suspect to make the solo developer a fairly wealthy man almost overnight. I have no objection to this, of course; you make your own future and I wish him the best.
It's been 17 days since the last *minor* update though and even longer since a significant update.
How much longer can we keep on saying "but it's only one guy!" before it starts to feel like progress has become glacial to non-existent?
We know it's just one guy. It's repeated ad nauseam on these boards, but that's not a forever excuse for waiting for QoL updates.
First download this: https://www.nexusmods.com/supermarketsimulator/mods/9
Read it's description page. It describes how to set it up.
After that, look through the mods on Nexus and pick out the ones you'd like. Read the description pages for each. It will tell you where the files need to go.
It's pretty easy.
