I hope they add a speed buff to the cashiers before adding negative impacts. Each real Supermarket would fire these AI cashiers for their slow work. Personally, i got a mod that allows to change the cashier's speed and it makes life easier.
Hopefully in the future, customers get frustrated and leave--and all of the products they were going to buy just fall to the floor.
I'm level 82, and I have all 4 checkouts with cashiers, plus I run a register after noon, and I still get it sometimes. I have yet to have a customer leave, or drop their products on the floor, but if I don't open my register, that's all I see on my screen. The only thing it might impact me on is my experience points. I have not seen any other impacts.
I would like to see a "training program" for both cashiers and stockers. I have more trouble with the stockers being slow than the cashiers.
Or you could use "Fast Forward" and go to x 3 or x 5 after the last customer left until the Restockers are done.
