Box glitch

I keep getting stuck holding a box, so then I have to come out and close the game via steam, meaning I then lose my progress as it goes back to the last time it saved. Cant drop the box or place it onto a shelf or throw it. anyone else having this issue?

If it is stuck red in your hands, press ESC to turn it normal and you should be able to throw it in the trash or put it on a storage rack.

yes the exact same issue has happened to me 2 times within the space of 5 minutes.
The first time it happened was when i was organising my store and shelves, so i lost all my progress and have to do it again. You can't even press esc either so you have to force close the game

Yes! This is exactly what is happening for me. cant push escape. it has just done it to me again whilst sorting my store. so now it's back to how it was before I started. doh! Glad it's not just me though

Just had this happen and thank you for commenting about throwing it in the trash. I was able to toss the box and end the day.

I am experiencing the same issue. I've noticed that the problem occurs when trying to deposit or throw a box, and the game states that it is impossible. Afterwards, the player is stuck holding the box, unable to exit using the ESC key.

I am getting this bug as well. It's new for me--never have had it occur. And usually occurs when interacting with a box, usually empty as well.

I cannot interact with anything else. Box cannot be put down or into Trash. It's effectively softlocked and the only solution I have is to Alt+F4.

Came here to see if this was still happening. I had to stop playing since the last update because of this problem. I just tried to play it again today and it's still doing that for me too. So frustrating because if you don't save it before working with the boxes, you have to force a logout and lose all your progress.

I'm still having this issue as well. Definitely frustrating, I try to save constantly, but still lose progress. Gonna have to see if it gets fixed in the coming update that the Dev posted about yesterday.

I have some issue sometimes. Just drop the box in garbage and then click escape. It's will work 100% times
