Keypad on credit card reader
Any chance that can be setup so I can use the keypad on my keyboard? I think it would feel much better that way (or at least the option to) and have an auto decimal point?

Came here to say this! Mouse work is a pain

Agreed! Wish I could upvote this lol. One of the notes I made on improvement to EA version. Especially because you can use the keypad when setting prices which is interesting.

UPDATE: I would suggest reading the most recent post from the dev who is working so hard to clear bugs and make updates and take all this feedback. It looks like they mentioned adding this functionality.

As the sum is already calculated at the register, why do you have to type it into the reader anyways? It's just a tideous delay. Why cant the sum just transfer?. You don't have to enter the sum when they pay by cash - you have to give back the change-amount which is automaticly calculated which is realistic, but no typing. In every supermarket I have been to, the sum is transfered to the reader automaticly... No cashier has to type it in (unless it's a very small kiosk or something, that have an oldschool register) - Having to type this in for every sale is kinda unrealistic.

It's a handheld card reader. Or appears to be. Like what I've seen much more often in Europe at restaurants (although American restaurants seem to be finally catching on). Grocery stores on the other hand...I see that a lot here (in the US) in small locally owned stores where they have a reader that looks exactly like that. A lot of the international food markets in my area use them. Punch in the number. Turn it to customer to enter card or tap. Etc. etc.

But also it's a game and doesn't have to follow all that exactly of course. :P To me, it's at least making it to where card transactions still require some effort/playing on the part of the player, but I could see it being good either way. *shrug*

The dev (yes, its only ONE person who is making this game) already told, that this feature is on his list.
There is no need of opening 20 of the same thread.

Thank you for noting this, right after I commented I saw what he had posted where this is in his list. So will keep that in mind. And yup as I posted on comment post he made a day or two ago, so impressed. He's been able to handle a lot of bugs and updates very quickly which is nuts!

Please make it where you can enter payment amounts on the keyboard. I have horrible tendinitis and using the mouse exacerbates it. I usually do not get mouse/keyboard games only, but really wanted to try out this game.

Until it is fixed, if you have a price that ends in a 0, like $5.30, you only have to type 5.3, saving you one click

I wouldn't imagine that needs to be "fixed", that's just how the numbers work. Same as a calculator.

Didn't mean it like that. I meant until he fixes so that we can use our numpad.

At my country, lot of small shops have to manually write it there. Even 1 little bigger getted automated terminal about 1 year ago - nothing changed, terminal same, but they send it to it from PC (yes, their using desktop PC like cash register xd - just have barcode reader)
