2 Cash registers
How are you placing your registers if you have more than one?
I can't seem to find a good placement for them, mainly because you can't choose which side the conveyor belt is on.
They take alot of space, and it seems that the store only expands in one direction (bought 4 expansions so far) So I can't really figure out how to place them in a way that both looks nice and is effective.

Mind posting a pic how you have them placed?

I have my shelves around the walls, with the registers in the middle of the store like a kitchen island.

Do you have them side be side, like ---register--- ---register---
Or more like
---register---
---register---

If it's like the first example, doesn't the line of costumers on the first register start queueing back to the next one? If you know what I mean, can't really explain it well in english.

A picture would be welcome :P

My registers are currently tucked up against the right wall. I've got 3 there now in a row. I think it opens up the room more, I use to put a shelf behind them but feel like I have more room now.

Customers will clip through each other at the moment. If you want to play more realistically I would encourage the second option, but for space and profit the first example is best.

Thanks for the pic and suggestion. Not really how I want it to look, but I guess it can work.

Yeah, I thought that might've been the best option, space wise, but was worried about that clipping part. I think that would irk me to much to be honest.
It would be nice if they alowed us to choose which side the conveyor belt is on. Then I could have one register on either side of the door atleast, making it a bit more realistic looking.

I put mine right beside the door on the side of the storage space, since they fit there perfectly and that side never gets increased.
It does cause some strange behavior when there is more then 3 people in the line though, since the people will try to queue from the storage side.

It tripped me out to follow a customer, robbing me blind, try to escape through the storage room, just to stare at a wall and come back in to pay.
