If it's like the first example, doesn't the line of costumers on the first register start queueing back to the next one? If you know what I mean, can't really explain it well in english.

Customers will clip through each other at the moment. If you want to play more realistically I would encourage the second option, but for space and profit the first example is best.
Yeah, I thought that might've been the best option, space wise, but was worried about that clipping part. I think that would irk me to much to be honest.
It would be nice if they alowed us to choose which side the conveyor belt is on. Then I could have one register on either side of the door atleast, making it a bit more realistic looking.
It does cause some strange behavior when there is more then 3 people in the line though, since the people will try to queue from the storage side.

It tripped me out to follow a customer, robbing me blind, try to escape through the storage room, just to stare at a wall and come back in to pay.
