Unlocking more cashiers

So I just unlocked my first cashier so I'm not doing 100% of the work myself. However, checking on the PC unlocks for Cashier 2, I've noticed the completed checkouts is not raising when the cashier completes them.

Are we really expected to manually complete 1750 checkouts personally to unlock the full cashier staffing? That seems... beyond tedious. Unlocking cashiers is supposed to feel like a benefit, a reduction of the workload as you expand. But right now, hiring a cashier kind of feels like a punishment, a road block to getting more staff down the road?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, maybe it updates at the end of a day? Or when you reach the appropriate level to get the next cashier?

You have to make the goals your self! Learned it my self the hard way. You need to stand there until you cash out your self those 400

That's... rather unfortunate. I'd prefer not to have only one cashier in my store forever, but the thought of reaching those milestones is mindnumbing! Well, thank you for your response, perhaps the balance of this is something the devs can look into. Even if cashiers only count for 1/2 or 1/4 of the checkouts they do. <3

Buy a second cash register, and man one of them when you have time, or when it gets busy. Won't take long to get to 400.

Yeah, that was my intent. My concern sits more around the 4th cashier being a staggering 1750 checkouts. But alas, just gotta stick with it I suppose! Thanks for the suggestion!
