this is also the reason I round up the prices to the nearest full 10’cents. Not even the 5’cents.
If using a card, there should be no manual input anymore.
But it has every card reader attachements on it....
However, if you have a smart system in your store, you can connect your smartphone with this system. I have seen this often enough in restaurants.
Normally the total price should be send to the card reader when you just press that the customer wants to pay with card.
Yes and this is the reason why i think that just typing in the price with the numpad is not the best solution. You still type in the price manually. Just make a button on the display "pay with card"... and thats all.
Game looks cool though !
I noticed someone said this already, but I also have trouble with it not reading meaning I have to click a few extra times (or remove the previous entry to add in a number it missed).
I'd love to have the option to enter the price with the keypad. A lot of shops in my area still have the staff member enter the price.
Or could do a tiny mini game of 'swiping' the card perhaps. I know its the customers card and they would do that, but trying to think of another method.
I would be OK with being able to use the number pad. As far as the keystrokes, I price everything in increments of 50 cents, or full dollar amounts. 75% of all my transactions are even dollars, and the rest are 50 cents. This saves a LOT of time when entering in the values.
