Rent and bills!
Who agrees they should take the rent and bills out? I think, it would be better, so we can expand and stuff.

No rent and bills? I guess, that would be great but then the game would kind of lack of realism...:P
Life's not so cheap nor expensive (IN GAME), so this is just right to have them...and so to say, its not a so high cost, if you plan your finances right :D.
Expand not too fast or you'll fail....
Just begin very small and work your Supermarket up to the top...slowly but steady..

They should, yes; however, this is an early access title, after all. Who knows, maybe they will add it in the future? I hope it stays relevant long enough to make it what we hope it will become

I think they should provide it as an option later on. Like a custom game where you can adjust values for rent and bills and other stuff as well. I, personally, would want them to keep rent and bills in, just adjust it so it's not daily.

no, not out. It needs to be adjusted though

Must have bills, more bills and things to take care of as in real life make the game more in depth. However, I am screaming out for a little help with shelf stocking, I really really hope they introduce that option for an employee, he/she can do the manual crap when I want to chill behind the counter.

Keep rent and bills in. It helps to balance the game.

Current electricity is being charged before you open your store. So the longer you take purchasing and restocking shelves before opening, the higher the bill will be. It also keeps charging after 9 pm until you end the day.

This is supposed to be changed so it will only start charging when you open your store.

i alrdy meantioned this i said lower how often its part of realism as snown flake pointed out witch is why they added it in the first place, so dnt say remove completly just say to decrease how often have to pay them

As for now, you pay a rent because your room is a rented one. Later maybe you will be able to BUY an own building where you dont pay rent anymore. I guess its okay to pay rent now. The easier it is, the faster it gets boring.

Oh, so that's why the bills vary so much! One day the bill is about 30 dollars and the next day it's over 150 dollars! :D I wondered why. (I didn't buy new fridges so I was really confused why my bills varied so much.) I really hope they change this. It's not so relaxing to fill the shelves, check all the prices, make orders and arrange fridges, shelves etc to different places in the shop if it affects the bills and everything should be done in a hurry.

Just figured this out the hard way, I also forgot to actually pause the game a couple of times. The erratic wacky bills is basically forcing a restart, part of it is on me but not all of it. After 3 days of starting -$600+ I've determined I cannot recover. Can't buy product, can't make money.

I didn't notice that after buying the product I also had to pay to stock it and rearrange the store. Can't reorganize and move displays with people in the store, and my bills are higher if I take the time to do it? I don't think that's fair, especially for how much displays and expansions cost to get.

I'm going to give it another go, hopefully it was all caused by my own inattentiveness, or maybe I didn't save that...either way something needs to change. It's designed to keep us pushing forward, but you get punished for doing just that

I respectfully disagree. The rent and bills add some realism to the game, but it is annoying we have to pay every day and it is pretty expensive. Once a week or once a month would be okay. In my latest savegame I am about 3 weeks (in game weeks) and I already cant afford to pay my rent and bills. This game still needs a lot of improvements. My biggest peeve is how quickly the time goes once you open for the day. I do my ordering and shelf stocking before I open in the mornings, but still, during the opening hours the time goes way too fast IMO.

I think having bills and rent coming once a week (or once a month) would be better.

It should be an option or be like an easy mode.

if you own a store you pay rent and have utilities to pay. Now the bills shouldn't be daily and changed to monthly. Now i have no clue why you think you are getting charged before or after the store closes. I dont turn my lights on until 6pm when it gets dark. My light bill is the same everyday unless i have added a new freezer or refridgerator. I am 147 days in and have 10 fridges and 6 freezers which cost 150 a day in electric. Not sure how that bill and the rent is that much of an issue. Now if you wanna say the price of expansion is a bit much and odd it goes up so much for the same amount of space then I would agree with that. Though I believe that things are more is to slow play down while in EA so not everyone is maxing out in 10 days of play time.
