Controller support?

At some point will there be controller support because for games like this I tend to use a controller cuz it's easier I mean I'm not against using mouse and keyboard completely I'm just kind of wondering if the ability to use controllers will be a thing sometime in the future.

I have a community controller layout you can download through Steam called "Supermarket Simulator for Gamepad V2" in the Community Layouts tab of Steam's Controller Configurator. I've only played for like 11 hours but the layout has over 900 hours played on it. I'm sure official support will make it obsolete at some point but makes it playable in the meantime for folks that love gamepad or Steam Deck controls.

To be honest I tried looking for it and I couldn't find it I mean I do have a controller configurer but I tried to look it up on there and nothing came up

Is it possible to price items with the gamepad using your layout? I've had the controller mapped since the first demo but I have to use m+kb to price items still, as I haven't figured out a way to pop up a NumPad.

Honestly it seems like a elusive question for now cuz as someone said to me they made a layout and I couldn't find it I asked him about it obviously and never got a response I mean.

Unless someone makes layout and posts it on controller companion Christine I don't see any way to use controller to be honest.
