Suggestions
Hi,
Here's few suggestions:

1- After purchasing a counter or any furniture, we should have the option to "delete" or get a refund of the furniture. I bought a Cash counter and couldn't delete it. Worst, it got bug and I couldn't continue playing as I needed to restarted all over. The counter couldn't rotate either due to my small area.

2- More different NPC + Lore. Bubble head with message. Happy or angry face above their head depending on the service they recieve ( item price, item missing, too long to pay.. etc )

3- We should have thieves + Security once we have a bigger supermarket.

4- We should also have AI who can actually auto "refill" our shelves of missing food. These would be "general do-it-all" AI automated. Very slow, but efficient when we have too much goods to refill.

5- NPC should have story to tell us with the option to listen or not. There should be a branching or replies. Depending on the reply we chose, we may get extra "tips" or the customer may be more incline to buy more stuff in the future.

6- We should have "music" ( lounge music or random radio music ) with the option to turn it off or on.

7- If we take too long to serve customers, those waiting in line could get angry and return the product to their respective counter due to lengthy service. They will also buy less next time to come back.

8- Not enough lighting. Not sure but as we expand rooms, there is missing light in new area we buy... or maybe we have that option to buy more lighting later? Not sure.

9- More room decorations.

The game is good and I understand it's still in alpha state. I'll keep playing for now since it's very relaxing.

1,3,4 (and I think 9) are already 'planned'. At the main menu there is a list of upcoming adds at the top right. Scroll through it to see more.
2 is alright but it needs consequences to that response to make it mean anything. Who cares if they are happy/unhappy if nothing happens because of it. (basically your #7 suggestion)
5 is just no. I don't want to waste 10 minutes on a customers tale to get a small tip. I can take the next twenty customers and make way more.
6. Music would be nice but it would just be elevator music type at best so not really important as I can always play my own music in the background
8. You can already buy lights in the game. Furniture tab, spotlight. $40

Your role in the game should continually expand. First you started out as primarily cashier, then shelf stocker, then price checker, then purchaser (buy low sell high), then warehousing (storage), then security, then janitor(?), then idk what comes next.

But the point is that you slowly get to automate each process so you can focus on newer aspects of the game (i.e. First you do it as a staff member, then you manage it as a manager), rather than be stuck with shelving stock for one real time hour each in-game day cause of the sheer number of products and prices to check daily.

Imagine a game where you can:

1. Hire people to restock shelves for you based on what is available in storage. They'll report if they can't find stock and you have none left of a goods. Maybe even be able to set a lower tier for stock qty and have them report <5 left goods.

2. Hire someone to buy goods for you. e.g. If price of bread is <$2, please purchase 5x stocks. And you could set that for every good so you don't have to worry about low stocks.

etc and so on for security guards, janitors, warehouse staff (none of which is in game yet but the dev is working on theft and security according to the store page).

Why do customers demand alcohol when I don't wanna sell?

7 - I like this idea but they should leave all of their items on the ground at the end of the counter for you to restock. That would be a good challenge.
