2 is alright but it needs consequences to that response to make it mean anything. Who cares if they are happy/unhappy if nothing happens because of it. (basically your #7 suggestion)
5 is just no. I don't want to waste 10 minutes on a customers tale to get a small tip. I can take the next twenty customers and make way more.
6. Music would be nice but it would just be elevator music type at best so not really important as I can always play my own music in the background
8. You can already buy lights in the game. Furniture tab, spotlight. $40
have ai restock and then you do what? naw
Your role in the game should continually expand. First you started out as primarily cashier, then shelf stocker, then price checker, then purchaser (buy low sell high), then warehousing (storage), then security, then janitor(?), then idk what comes next.
But the point is that you slowly get to automate each process so you can focus on newer aspects of the game (i.e. First you do it as a staff member, then you manage it as a manager), rather than be stuck with shelving stock for one real time hour each in-game day cause of the sheer number of products and prices to check daily.
Imagine a game where you can:
1. Hire people to restock shelves for you based on what is available in storage. They'll report if they can't find stock and you have none left of a goods. Maybe even be able to set a lower tier for stock qty and have them report <5 left goods.
2. Hire someone to buy goods for you. e.g. If price of bread is <$2, please purchase 5x stocks. And you could set that for every good so you don't have to worry about low stocks.
etc and so on for security guards, janitors, warehouse staff (none of which is in game yet but the dev is working on theft and security according to the store page).
