About prices
I've always sold everything on market price and I have 52 customers/day. (Level 36) Would there be more customers, or would I sell more products per day if I sold products on lower prices? On the prologue I sold something just a little above market price and customers complained it was too expensive and didn't buy it. I haven't tried that in this early access game. How much higher than market price would be too expensive?

When selling on market price I have to have 2 rows of each product on the shelf. (There are couple of exceptions.) I was thinking if I should order more same product to sell if I lowered the prices.

Don't know if you'd get more customers if you lower prices, but I don't believe so.
And personally, I set prices about .10-.20 above market price, havn't got any complaints yet about products being to expensive. Havn't dared increasing it more than that.

I believe, the anumber of customer is based on the number of check out counters you have. I have four and also 52 customers per day.

I now set a little higher price for every product.

If the market value for a product is say 4.86, I set my price to 6. If there comes in a tightwad and complains I live with it as the other customers make up for it. Sometimes I see a product that I set too high and get a few complains, then I lower the price slightly over time to see if the complains stop.

After all, there is no time limit and if we had another save slot, I would put prices way higher, similar to your local corner shop or milk bar, just to see how it effects the game.

I set everything 15% higher than market price. They always whinge that it's too expensive, but I always make huge profits.
Most recent day
29 out of 39 customers bought something.
12 complains of expensive products
Net profit $662.68
I tried with 20% upmarket but they were furious 🤣
