Yes. Save the game, go back to the menu, then click continue. This was helping me.

I had a similar restocker glitch. I moved boxes of milk to another rackslot while he was walking to the old rackslot of milk. As I didn't know he was going for it. I was continuing my storage displacement and removed the product sticker off of the old rackslot. The restocker went to the old rackslot and stayed there standing. I even tried to restock milk but it didn't changed so I saved and reloaded the save and he was back on his idle spot outside.

Has anyone else gotten a glitch where the customers will get to the front door and then turn around. They will continue to shop, but some will be outside grabbing the air. It's like there was a shift in reality, and the shop and customers are on different plains.

I have the exact same problem Helmet. And then they come to the checkout and the groceries are there, but the customer is nowhere to be seen and you can't ring them out. I've saved, closed and restarted the game 3 times now and it hasn't resolved :(
Everytime j reset the game once they glitch I lose a lot of money bc they already took a lot of product.
queenofanimals222, SAME. I had to restart my playthrough once already because i just lost so much money from resetting while customers had products.
They will pick up some products, look around like they can't find something and never check out, no matter how long i wait. Devs, please fix this!! It always happens when I buy the first fruits and veggies license and have the produce stand. I have lost $4000 (in game) and completely lost all my progress, it took 2 real life days to get back to where I was

I quit the game for half a year hoping the devs would fix this by now. They haven't. I always have a large batch of customers at the end of the day who walk around from shelf to shelf without buying anything or leaving. I really don't want to reset my save because I've spent 40 hours on it.

It makes the game unplayable when you have a bunch of customers grab up expensive items without paying.

Are you using mods? If no mods report in bug reports for dev to see.

One cause for this is if you move a shelf while customers are in the store. If the customer is headed for a product on that shelf from anywhere in the store they will freeze when they get to the original destination. This happens even if you are just tweaking the location of the shelf.
Never move a shelf while the store is open.
