customers not paying enough for groceries?

when paying cash ive had a few customers not give me enough money. cash register says i owe them negative money, but there isnt an option to unscan, or get more $ from them, is this a bug or ? am i missing something that im supposed to do in these cases? dont knw if i can post a pic here, but ive uploaded one on my activity i think

next time it happens, take a screenshot of the register. It helps with bug reports and for us to see what might be happening.

I've had this happen a few times, was just looking for this post. Glad it's a known bug, I was so confused lol

i dont know if its a known bug, but i did post it in bugs too, in case i was. i have a screenshot of it but i don know where/how to post it, though i did upload it to my activity(or whtever its called,i dont utilize anything on steam much, just play the games so i dont know how anything works lol)

This is happening to me! I'm getting approximately 2-3 customers per day not giving me enough $. I've been playing everyday and tonight is the only time this is happening to me.

Yeah I had a bunch of customers pay less cash. It feels like I'm not making money and losing products. Good thing it's just a bug. Hope it gets fix soon.

Yeah I noticed it sometime yesterday. It does seem to be about 2-3 customers a day :(

Same just happened to me. I closed the check out but I don't know if that allowed them to still have the items or not

Do you use mods?, with no mods people seem not havien this problem, when a game update more mods become outdated and can broke thing...

1) I use imgur to make screenshots, recommended.
2) This has happened before, it's not new. There have also been screenshots of this. One possibility is that you scan everything too fast - this problem happened to people with autoclickers.
3) If you use mods, that could play a role.
4) I'd be interested to know what happens to the cash balance in the top right after a sale like that. Does it go into the negative too, or is it positive at that point? Because maybe it just shows wrong numbers on the register, and the actual calculation is correct.

Happened to my sister, All she did was pick up the register and it was fixed.

I have actually been able to create this bug many times over and I have put a stop to it as well. Not had this in months now. All it is to remember not to click to fast on the goods when putting them through the checkout and you problem is solved.
