I could "get used to" it eventually, but then it'll impact the instinctive motor skills I employ in EVERY OTHER First person game made since the turn of the century.
My ONE minute of total play time included...
1) Loading the game and looking around, not even moving from the starting spot.
2) double checking the available options in case I was missing something.
3) Quiting the game.
then....
4) Finding this discussion post, and realising I hadn't missed anything.
5) Requesting a refund.
THAT'S HOW TO RUIN A FIRST IMPRESSION, IN FIVE EASY STEPS.

That said, I typed this out before realizing things, so whatever..
Wait.. there are people who play first person games WITH the inverted mouse options?
That seriously blows my mind. No one I know uses them, or has in my over 20 years of PC gaming.
I don't look at it as pulling someone's head back and looking through that person's eyes. That seems silly. I look at it as I'm viewing through a person's eyes and the crosshair/dot is where I'm focusing. If I want to look down, I move the mouse down.. as you would.
You could also look at it as it is in the real world. Put the mouse cursor at the top of your screen. Now, as you guys would say, pull the mouse back.. and follow the cursor. You're starting to look down.
