Refill throughout the day
Do you guys also refill throughout the day avoiding empty shelves when the store is open?

At the moment im trying to implement a strategy that i can keep an eye up to the shelves and restock them while im at the checkout. Hella though but im trying it.

For now on my own i miss around 2/3 products because i'm to slow and my sight on the shelves is not good.

(i decided to do it all by myself until the supermarket becomes super massive. because i like to work hard by myself. the npc cashier is so freaking slow, he's holding everything up)

after 2-3 checkout lanes, you dont have checkout issues anymore and you just stock full time.

But i dont wanna do that, i wanna stay a part of the checkout. I feel like that is kinda a part of the hardworking engine of the store and i wanna stay a part of that. I like that part.

It depends on the time and situation. This game probably doesn't require shelf maintenance, so it doesn't hurt to have an empty shelf.

I have 3 rows of most items on my shelves and for me I rarely run out of product during the day. Some items have more than 3 rows and some less which was the result of checking how much stock (or not) was left on the shelf at the end of the day, more than 1 row left and it got reduced from 3 to 2, sold out another row was added, I did this until I was happy with the levels of stock on my shelves and I only rarely ran out of something. I now only restock before opening and stay on the cashdesk all day.
