Would this game work on Steam Deck?

I would like to get this on my steam deck but I wanted to know would it work control wise.

It is possible to play with Steam Deck, but it is difficult. It is not easy to replenish inventory.

I wouldn’t get the game just yet for the Steam Deck as it is more designed for a keyboard and mouse. Shame they can’t update this to controller friendly too.

This game works in Steam Deck, but you just have to map the Steam Deck buttons to keyboard and mouse movements.... Thats how I play it when not on the PC.

So do you have a controller setup on steam for this game. I can get it to stock and move but thats about it. I need a mapped key configuration.

I use "Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad" and then mapped this but you can map it to what makes sense to you. I didn't publish my config.

Trigger L2 Full Pull : Keyboard G Key
Trigger R2 Full Pull : Left Mouse Click
Button L4 : Keyboard C Key
Button R4 : Keyboard Enter Key
Button A : Keyboard Space Key
Button B : Keyboard Escape Key
DPad Up : Mouse Scroll Wheel Up
DPad Down : Mouse Scroll Wheel Down

i mainly play on the deck but would need the virtual keyboard for some things.

Works very well now on the Deck, however, price input requires manual keyboard, occasionally if you're switching between PC/Deck, you may experience some desync with saves (easily resolved with force syncing).

But overall, gameplay is flawless aside from the price changes.
