Storage useless?

I unlocked the storage and put some shelves in there, but since i burn thru the stock quickly, its really waste of time putting the stuff in the storage, instead i just put them in piles in the store so i can easily restock the items.
Is there any benefit to waste the 800+ money to get the storage other than move running around putting boxes in and out of it?

There should be theft stealing whole boxes if boxes are outside a shop :)

I have yet to see any hires for restocking, thats why i asked, i only seen cashier hires when i played last time.

yes devs are really active on discord so it where i get my information from, understand not everyone is part of that :).

Update with the restockers is comming today.

Thanks for info so i need to prepare stock room ? i have very tiny with 2 places for boxes as i t wasny very usefull till now
