Just the one. New game will overwrite the current save.

You would have to manually back up the save and move it to another location if you want to keep it.

If you want to share with your brother then you will have to be swapping saves. Have a folder on your desktop for your save and one for his. When done playing for the day copy your save to your folder and let him play then he copies his save to his folder.

You just have to swap saves depending on who is playing and played last.

Do you have instructions on what exactly you have to do?
What files do I need to back up to have my saved game on another computer? Thank you!

Goto the save location Find the save file in AppData/LocalLow/Nokta Games/Supermarket Simulator

and copy the folder to back it up.

You can backup your savefile(s) in different folders and switch between them. Dont know why you want that but thats is the only option you have at the moment.
heres the path of the savegame.
C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\LocalLow\Nokta Games\Supermarket Simulator
Remember that the AppData folder is invisible. You need to turn the option on in the Folderoptions.

-_- backed up the folder you mentioned by copying it and renaming it.. After returning it and naming it back my entire save file is gone. thanks so much only like 70 hours down the drain. If you meant something inside of said folder and not the folder you should have said so and specified what. Not everyone going to look at a bunch of random files in a folder they never seen before and know what to back up .

You could just Steam Family Share with your brother, then no need to backup the files, all he needs is his own account and you to enable games to be shared with him, then when he wants to play, all he has to do is log in to his own account and he'll have his own save and it will be backed up in the cloud as well

This is what I did and it worked. Use with caution.

1. Turn off the Steam Cloud for Supermarket Simulator by clicking the gear icon (manage), select properties, and disable Steam cloud.

2. You don't need to copy everything from C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\LocalLow\Nokta Games\Supermarket Simulator\

You only need to copy the most recent .es3 file.

3. Copy and save your old save file (es3) somewhere else on your computer.

4. Now you can select new game.

5. When you want to play the old file, just copy the current save file to a different location, remove everything from the folder, and paste only the old es3 file into C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\LocalLow\Nokta Games\Supermarket Simulator\

6. Now you can swap between save files.

Good luck!

Would still be alot easier if you could have an auto save and 2-4 save slots for yourself.

I agree with Vorshin. Only having one save slot in the game is the worst aspect of the game. I'd give up all the proposed upgrades if additional save slots, (maybe 4??), were made available first.

My wife wants to play this game to on pc there sould make so you could make more then one save file for more then one shop.
+1 on adding extra save slots! This is the reason I haven't touched the game in a year because I don't want to progress my only savefile outside of streaming and I've been busy with other games. I love the game and I would like to play it more, but this is the reason I'm not playing.
