Cash in cash register being for real
It would be a great feature if you had to control actual cash that you give change with. Not necessarily in matter of number of coins or bills, but the amount that you actually own.

I think it would add more strategical thinking to the game, etc.

I think they didn't do this because this could lead to a lot of people being hardlocked. What happens if you run out of cash? You start over again? Nah. The way they did it is the easiest way. I will say that how you mention it is how it would be done IRL though ofc.

And that's what makes a "business simulator" great. Calculating ahead etc. Then again, it wouldn't be that punishing. Just slowing progress, as in fact, clients give exact money sometimes, so you will profit, but slower I guess, unless you calculate your money properly. Then again, card payments, etc.

If they added that then they would then need to add into the game spare money to be able to add it to the cash registers, Most shops in RL would keep spare money in case the cash register runs low

Honestly, I think that's taking it a bit too far. When too many simulation aspects are put into the game, it can make it have a little too much micromanagement. In the future, there will be other things to worry about. Like managing more products, keeping on eye on price fluctuations, preventing theft, taking online orders, delivering orders, cleaning the floor. Adding in the task of maintaining change in your till is just that extra thing to manage along with everything else.

Correct, I wouldn't go so far. But change money should be less than you currently have. Basically, running simple math on your total money and change to give. Not physically putting money in the till.

If it is possible to change the money is it much better as now. like 0.20 than 0.25 because I miss the 0.20 xD

Sorry I'm not sure I follow what exactly you're suggesting. Currently the register displays how much they paid, and gives you the amount due in change. You click on the appropriate denominations that equal the amount due.

Are you suggesting that a particular denomination may run out and you'll need to refill the empty register slot? That's what I thought at first, and now I'm not following what it is you're suggesting should work differently. Can you elaborate? Do you mean the register shouldn't calculate the amount due and the player should do the math on their own?

As in the early days where someone comes in with $100 to pay for a $3 loaf of bread so you give them $97 even though the total you have at the start of the day is 4.07? so where did the $95.93 come from.

Everyone starts with a float in their cash register in the real world. They don't start with it empty. So they will open with a certain amount of money for each denomination, that will usually add up to a certain amount.

For ease, that float value is just drawing from your actual cash amount.

Maybe you actually start with $200, $100 in your register and $100 in your bank, Like Knottypine stated, in retail you would put money into the registers before you open then take it back out again when you close.
