File Size/Storage?

The Steam page for system requirements has no information on how large the file size is or how much storage space you need on your hard drive for the game.

If i remember correctly downloadsize is around 10 GB and size of the installation on harddrive is 28,07 GB.

Ok that's good if that's the case. I was worried this is cloud only and you need constant online connection. Hopefully they just forgot to mention the file size on the page and that the game is an actual file you download.

First tries i couldn´t play offline. But now it should be possible.

I'm hearing people cannot play it offline so that's not good to hear.

Oops sorry. Thought i did post what happened.

So i did play Metro during Steam was in Offfline-Mode. No problem to start. But maybe you need at the very first start a connection to the internet. That i couldn´t test because i did finish the game and not reversible to start it like a fresh installation.
However, Offlineplaying is possible.

Thank you. I actually just recently found out that in late November they released a patch for offline mode. Before that you could only play online so I think that was the problem.
