I almost never play non-VR games anymore, flat games gives me very little. I tried Space Marine 2, and uninstalled and refunded after 10 minutes, those games just aren't my thing anymore. I'm only moderately interested in the Metro games, I've played the 3 games, but would probably not play a 4th flat game.

I'm hoping this will be the next HL:A, we still haven't gotten a new VR game to challenge HL:A, My VR is mostly used for flight simming, while I await the next good VR game.

Yea, I can't play flat games anymore either. It's like doing VR since 2015 has broken my ability to enjoy regular games at all. Since I don't like Meta and their exclusives either, it's always a treat to get a Steam PCVR title for me.

I believe this game was bank rolled-funded by Meta, along with two others whose names I can’t recall. Because of that, I doubt the developers will release a flat-screen version. A modded version might be possible, but not every VR game can simply be modded for flat-screen play without adjustments to levels and other VR-specific features. Ideally, I’d love it if developers made all games compatible with both VR and flat-screen modes, as it would boost both sales and player counts.

People who want a VR game to be modded flat is like someone wanting to play basketball without a ball.

If this game was funded by Meta it wouldn't even be on Steam

I'd say it's more like people who would rather play with remote control cars than drive one themselves

ROFL, again a stupid controller boy with autoaiming playing cod the whole night and hiding his profile so nobody notice.

It's to force trolls like you to bring an argument instead of trying to dig for personal insults.
Even without access to the profile you manage to go there and basically admit that you're trying to dig into my profile as if anything you find there is going to help your argument.

Sure wish I could be playing that CoD game with Native HMD support on a gamepad right about now.

I wonder how long before they're interested in trying to make a CoD exclusive to this D-Padless trash of a motion controller landscape you call VR.

"You have to make me reach behind my back to pull out a tablet to call in my killstreak!" You have to make the game VR exclusive for that interaction!" -- And this is why we don't any kind of HMD support.

WTF would they devolve their game for the small handful of you that make up this pathetic VRAF echo chamber?

Funnily enough. I wonder if the lack of the D-Pad on the motion controller would convince them to make a CoD without Killstreaks again....

That honestly, is the only upside I can see to that missing d-pad.

Not everything is made for you.
I care. Be cause VR Only is actually really dumb, and an unneccesary method to pursue VR support.

The game could be made for EVERYONE, if you just got over the hand waving gimmicks or take the damn time to develop Flat Input alongside Motion.

That if you make a VR game, and Gamepad isn't an option for an input device. You f'd up. And did something wrong.

I will never beleive that pressing buttons and face or eye tracked aiming can't co-exist motion inputs. Everyone is just under the impression that VR has to be VR Only. And you are all wrong. Quit ignoring flat gaming inputs as an option to play a game in this HMD. Because your hand waving gimmicks. are overhyped, and NOT that immersive.

This game was purposely not made for him on behalf of a lame VRAF echo chamber surrounding VR gaming that never stops trying to gatekeep HMD support.

Does it makes you feel like you're better than other people because you're a VR gamer, who plays VR only games....

Not everything is made for you, is an elitist selfish mindset of a response. And nobody cares about THAT.

Physically Disabled people should get to enjoy VR, probably more than most.
But when VR is chasing absolute physicality on everything. What's the point?

I'm not physically disabled btw. Just a lazy gamer.

Have you actually tried VR?

Because if you think it's like playing on a Wii. You're dead wrong.

That's what I thought VR was just having a screen really close to your eyes with Wii controls..

It's not that.

Games can be both flat and VR there games that have both options. Although I don't know any where the VR part isn't jank AF.

All the controls for this game have VR in mind. Grabbing your back pack off your back. Taking out the charger and winding the level to charge your flashlight or connecting the jump cables to a switch...

Having to redesign all the controls that are VR specific to accommodate flat is just asking for alot when everything is being designed with VR in mind.

This.
If you don't have or don't like VR, then it's simply not for you. There is no need, and no point in whining about it, trolling, and bashing VR. Move the F on.
